Light artist Jaap van den Elzen was immediately enthusiastic after seeing the Kuijpers project in Helmond. He has sought collaboration with studio Solarix with his proposal to generate energy from the icons of the city of Eindhoven (former power plant in Strijp S). Sensors will translate the energy from the environment into a light artwork that reflects the buzz in the environment. We design it in such a way that multiple artists can use the light platform to display their light artworks. Some of the energy is needed for the LEDs, the remaining energy can be returned to the neighborhood, for example for charging electric cars. In this way, the district benefits from the energy yield in several ways.
