A candy store of colours and possibilities for the facade

Solarix facade mounting system

A patented facade mounting system with individually removable panels for extra ease of installation.

In short: solar facades are at least as easy to install as other facade materials.

Plug-and-play facade installation

The Solarix facade mounting system has been specifically developed to simplify the challenges associated with installing solar panels on the facade, such as E-installation, weight and replacement. The plug-and-play system has been designed with circularity in mind: it uses less aluminum per m² and is therefore lighter, panels are individually removable, and the system consists of 80% recycled aluminum.

To match the aesthetic added value of Solarix solar panels, the mounting system is slim, with a depth of 60 mm between the panels and the facade. This means that minimal space is lost in the gross floor area of the building.

Everything to make installation beautiful, fast and flexible.

80%

Produced with 80% recycled high-quality aluminum from the Netherlands.

40%

Designed for optimal load-bearing capacity and with 40% less material use

53 cm

Slim design with 60 mm space between the panel and the facade

With an eye to the future

Safely and easily remove individual panels

Solarix facade panels are durable and developed with a long lifespan of at least 25 years. Solarix facade panels can be mounted and installed individually, making it possible to replace a single panel. The Solarix facade mounting system offers the possibility to safely disconnect one facade panel from the electrical link of panels and replace it, so that all panels above or below can remain in place.

Adjusting bolt

Level each solar facade panel neatly

The mounting system has 2 clips with adjustment bolts at the top. This means that each panel can be individually levelled or aligned with other architectural components.

Fixation

Fixing to the facade and/or mechanical securing

After installation, the solar panels are fixed with screws through the horizontal supports in the facade, so that the panel does not 'walk' on the supports.

In more complex facade situations, higher buildings or stricter regulations, Solarix offers various solutions for mechanical securing in addition to the mounting system such as strips, clamps above or hands below the panel.

Facade ventilation

Cooler panels and better yield

The Solarix facade mounting system leaves a minimum continuous ventilation space of 30 mm between the rear of the facade cladding and the existing construction. This is more than sufficient for optimal ventilation of the facade and the panels. A well-ventilated facade has a cooling effect. The warm air in the cavity moves upwards, causing cooler air to be drawn in at the opening at the bottom of the facade. The ventilation therefore cools the building in the summer. Cooler panels give a better yield.

How is it made

Assembly in Weesp

The Solarix mounting system is completely produced in the Netherlands. The profiles are made from 80% high-quality recycled aluminium, after which they are processed and glued to the solar facade panels in our assembly hall in Weesp, The Netherlands. The bonding takes place in a conditioned environment to guarantee high quality.
